Data Deletion Request

See also our Privacy Policy (Section 8, “Your rights”) and Terms of Service.

What you can request

  • Your personal account data — your Discord profile info, login history, and any account settings tied to your user record.
  • A specific server's data — moderation cases, automation configuration, tickets, and other server-scoped records for a server you own or are otherwise authorized to act on behalf of.

Before you request deletion

Removing Darky from your server (Discord server settings → Integrations) stops the bot from collecting any further data immediately, and is the fastest way to stop new data from being created. It does not, by itself, delete data already stored — use the request process below for that.

Delete your personal account yourself

Sign in, open Account and use “Delete my account” under Your data. You can download a copy of your data there first. For your security Darky asks you to sign in again if your last sign-in was more than 15 minutes ago.

Deleting your account straight away:

  • signs you out on every device and removes your connected Discord login, passkeys and two-factor setup;
  • removes your settings, notification preferences, sign-in history, API keys, birthdays, pending reminders and AFK status;
  • replaces your name, email and avatar on the account with “Deleted User”.

Records that belong to the servers you were in stay with those servers: moderation cases, ticket transcripts, audit history, levels and economy balances. Ask a server's owner, or us (below), if you want those removed too.

How to request deletion of server data

Deleting a server's data isn't a self-service action yet — email privacy@darky.me or reach us on Discord with:

  • Whether you're requesting deletion of your personal account, a specific server's data, or both.
  • The Discord user ID or server (guild) ID the request applies to.
  • Confirmation that you own the account, or (for a server request) that you own or are authorized to act for that server.

We may ask you to confirm the request from the Discord account tied to it, so we don't delete data on someone else's say-so.

What happens after a request

  • We confirm receipt and verify the request is coming from an authorized account.
  • We delete the requested data, other than what we're required to retain — see “What we can't delete right away” below.
  • We confirm once deletion is complete.

What we can't delete right away

  • Active subscriptions: if a server has a paid plan, cancel it first — billing records for a paid plan are retained for up to 30 days after cancellation (see our billing FAQ), and afterward only as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations.
  • Payment records: Darky never stores card details — Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and merchant of record, handles that. Deletion requests for payment/billing history should also be directed to them for anything on their side.
  • Records we're legally required to keep: for example, records needed to investigate abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, or meet a legal retention obligation, kept only as long as that obligation requires.
