Changelog
What's new in Darky.
2026-10-20
Server setup builds for real, and settings pick channels and roles by name
The Server setup page now runs the actual builder: pick a template or describe your server, review a dry run of every change, approve it, and undo the build if needed. Setup history loads correctly and failed loads are reported. Settings pages choose channels, roles and members from lists instead of typed Discord IDs. Verification, Anti-Raid and Anti-Nuke can be saved the first time. /antiraid lockdown and /clear over 25 messages ask for confirmation.
2026-10-19
Reaction-role panel builder, and safer Anti-Nuke
Build reaction-role panels with reactions, buttons or a select menu in four steps, save drafts, check them before publishing, and duplicate or republish them. Only roles below your own and Darky's can be offered. Anti-Nuke opens one incident per attack and shows whether its alert and role removal worked. Accepting a /form application only gives roles below the reviewer's.

Moderation actions are carried out reliably, and you can export or delete your account
Dashboard bans, kicks and timeouts are now checked against Discord permissions and role order for each member, retried on temporary Discord errors, and marked failed with the reason otherwise. Appeals lift the punishment they were about. Background jobs (moderation, server sync, setup) run in production again. Under Account, you can download your data or delete your account.

Paid plans opened (withdrawn since)
Pro, Growth, and Network could be subscribed to for a while. As of October 2026 no paid plans are on sale; see Pricing.
2026-08-29
Reaction roles can now be temporary, and Settings became a Configuration hub
Give any self-assign role an auto-expiring duration, with a dashboard view of every active temporary grant you can extend or revoke early. Settings is now a Configuration hub with a section map, a settings search, and a config-change history — plus a new read-only config export for backup/reference.
2026-08-29
Welcome messages can now use multiple variants and a full embed
Set several join-message variants (one is picked at random per join) and a rich embed for both the join and goodbye post — goodbye no longer silently reuses the join embed.
2026-08-29
The setup wizard grew from 6 steps to 12
AutoMod rules, welcome messages, anti-raid/anti-nuke/verification toggles, and a member/join-log channel step were missing entirely — now covered, plus built-in and custom saved setup presets, a ticket-panel readiness check, a self-assign-roles step, and a single readiness overview instead of scattered checkmarks.
2026-08-29
A real command center on the dashboard homepage
The homepage now surfaces a live alert strip and quick moderation actions instead of being a static landing page.
2026-08-28
Moderator leaderboard, bulk actions, and more case controls
See which staff are handling the most cases and which members are highest-risk at a glance, bulk-resolve multiple cases at once, edit case reasons after the fact, and use the new /softban and /note commands.
2026-08-28
One server selector for the whole dashboard
Every page now shares a single, persistent server selector instead of picking a server separately per page — plus a nudge for servers that haven't finished setup yet.
2026-08-23
Added Anti-Nuke: real-time protection against compromised staff or bots
Detects mass bans, kicks, channel deletions, role deletions, and webhook creation by a single actor, with per-actor rate windows tuned to tell a legitimate bulk cleanup apart from real abuse. Temporary bans and mutes now auto-expire on schedule too.
2026-08-22
AutoMod now logs and explains every detection
Every AutoMod match is recorded in a real detection log, with a dashboard page to review detections, mark false positives, and see statistics — plus working DM-on-punishment.
2026-08-22
Moderation cases got a lot deeper
Severity tags, reason templates, a staff appeals inbox, DM notifications on punishment and appeal resolution, a warning escalation ladder with auto-expiry, and user-facing appeal submission — plus filtering, notes/evidence editing, undo, and per-member history on the case list.
2026-08-20
Any server owner can now manage their own server, no staff access needed
Server owners, admins, and mods can now use the full dashboard for their own server — moderation, tickets, leveling, AutoMod, and settings — without needing a special Darky staff role. Also new: a real per-server activity log, an AutoMod rule tester, automatic level-up role rewards, voice-channel XP, inline ticket transcripts, and account settings.
2026-08-14
Darky's slash commands are live in Discord
Commands like /warn, /timeout, /kick, /ban, /ticket, and /close now actually register with Discord and respond — the bot has grown to 70+ commands, covering moderation, tickets, economy, music, leveling, and more.
2026-08-13
Ban, kick, timeout, and warn actions now actually happen in Discord
Moderation actions taken from the dashboard or a Discord slash command are carried out automatically, not just recorded — as long as the Darky role has the matching Discord permission.
2026-08-09
Added automatic encrypted backups and emergency safety controls
A real backup system with off-site copies, emergency feature-flag killswitches, and a safe way to remove Darky from a server without losing your data.
2026-08-08
Added Server Health and a guided setup wizard
See at a glance whether Darky has the permissions it needs, plus step-by-step onboarding when you first add the bot to a server.
2026-08-07
Feature and pricing pages now match what actually works
Went through every public page and labeled each feature Available, Beta, or Coming soon based on real backend behavior — removed claims for things that weren't actually built.
2026-08-06
Fixed a broken dashboard sign-in redirect
darky.me/dashboard now properly checks whether you're signed in and sends you to the right place, instead of occasionally showing a stale page.
2026-08-05
Added a live status page
See real-time health for the website, API, database, bot, and mail — with an incident history, not just a static "all good" message.
2026-08-05
Rewrote our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
Replaced placeholder legal text with real, accurate information about what we collect, why, and how to reach us.
2026-07-29
Redesigned the site
Consistent look across every page, plus a dedicated landing page explaining what DarkyHub (our staff portal) actually is.
2026-07-22
Added leveling and expanded staff tools
XP-based leveling with per-server leaderboards, plus more staff management and webhook options in the dashboard.
